If you can keep your head when all about you
Are losing theirs and blaming it on you;
If you can trust yourself when all men doubt you,
But make allowance for their doubting too;
If you can wait and not be tired by waiting,
Or, being lied about, don't deal in lies,
Or being hated don't give way to hating,
And yet don't look too good, nor talk too wise;

If you can dream--- and not make dreams your master;
If you can think--- and not make thoughts your aim,
If you can meet with Triumph and Disaster
and treat these two impostors the same,
If you can bear to hear the truth you've spoken
Or watch the things you gave your life to, broken,
And stoop and build'em up with worn-out tools;

If you can make one heap of all of your winnings
And risk it on one turn of pitch-and-toss,
And lose, and start again at your beginnings,
And never breathe a word about your loss;
If you can force your heart and nerve and sinew
To serve your turn long after they are gone,
And so hold on when there is nothing in you
Except the Will which says to them: "Hold on!"

If you can talk with crowds and keep your virtue,
Or walk with Kings--- nor lose the common touch,
If neither foes nor loving friends can hurt you,
If all men count with you, but none too much;
If you can fill the unforgiving minute
With sixty seconds' worth of distance run,
Your is the Earth and everything that's in it,
And---which is more---you'll be a Man, my son!

by Rudyard Kipling

This, my friends of the European Union, is one of my favorite poems. It says much about the character of those with the responsibility to insure the safe being of others.
The challenges ahead of us are many. I will be there to help you through them as we all usher in a new year and a United European States (or Union) that is a TRUE DEMOCRACY.

To my many friends and visitors on Twitter, Facebook, ITunes, and my blog, and on my blog, may next year find all of us closer to the ones we love, and the ones we love closer to us. May we join together as a family of nations to help one another in hard times and good times. Let us always be aware that our fortunes may change at any moment, and that a debtor, can become a lender and that a lender can become a debtor at any moment in time.
I believe that everything happens for a reason. The present economic crisis has brought all of you to seek my guidance and has brought me to seek your friendship.
I am happy to help you in any way that I can. Be forewarned, my shirts are xxxl and way too big for me now. (I've lost over a hundred pounds in the past 2 years), you might want to share the shirt off of my back with a friend, or someone from another country.  If you really need it, provide me with an address, and I'll gladly give it to you. It's just the kind of guy that I am. I don't have much, I've never put much stock in things. I value people over power and possessions. I learned to live a simple life a long time ago. So much fussing and fighting in this world over temporary ownership of possessions that you can't take with you. I could never understand why people fight over thin air.
Wouldn't living together in peace and harmony be more productive for all of us?
One day you're on top of the mountain and the next day you're under it. If you try to take it with you, someone will dig you up and rob your grave and place your "possessions" in a museum. No person is above another in importance. Money comes and money goes. If all you value in life is possessions, you live a very poor life and rob yourself of the riches of being challenged to overcome adversity. You never know your own true worth.

Having said all that, I leave you this year with my blessing and this request, will each of the the EU Comm Reps and European dignitaries send Chancellor Merkel some honey and Mr. Sarkozy some cheese, and for me, here is my very short wish list: a unified European Union before March 11 (my birthday), world peace, a peaceful carefree life with a beautiful young wife, your friendship, a day (or two) with Rowan Atkinson, Patrick Stewart, and Ian McKellan (for three), a small house in the country in Ireland, the Nobel Peace Prize, a set of Scottish bagpipes and a kilt (Myers clan, to drive my neighbors crazy), a four leaf clover, a lifetime contract with the IMF as a consultant, an authentic German Winkle family coats of Arms, a map of the location of the Austrian Winkle family castle, a pair of wooden shoes, a trip to the European States (30 days), I would also like to spend four days  in each of your countries (I wouldn't want to wear out my welcome), and while I'm dreaming out loud, a case of Cracker Jacks with Eurobonds as a prize, (with these I can help more people with financial problems). I also desire an all expense paid diplomatic trip (including passport and visas (for three) to the signing ceremony of the New Treaty of Lisbon ushering in the United European States (or Union), courtesy of The White House or the IMF. After all, I'm English, Irish, Scotch, Dutch, French, and German. So as not to offend anyone, I am starting a charity to provide economic assistance for others next year. Your contributions would be most welcome. I learned a long time ago, that you have not, because you didn't ask God for what you really wanted, so God, I'm asking you to have these people to provide these tokens of appreciation (customs and tax free) for all of my hours of hard work on their behalf to date. I would also like for them to implement every request and suggestion that I have made these past four months without all of the needless debate.
If we could all live in peace and harmony that would be most appreciated. In Jesus' name, Amen.
These gifts of gratitude will provide for the economic assistance of others, for my children- many long lasting memories, and lastly, for myself, my personal happiness. None of these requests are extravagant, or beyond your means. Many millions will benefit by your contributions and cooperation. I ask very little for myself.
I used to charge $200 per hour for my work, but I felt that I could do more good by helping the masses and almost giving my services away. As long as my needs are met, my wants are very little.

To my friends in Hungary, thank you for your kind words of encouragement, you are the only ones that wrote me with thanks and any kind of gratitude for my efforts. It kept me going. If every dignitary, Economic Minister, and EU Commission Representative's officers were as nice as you were to me, the upcoming negotiations would be a breeze. Thank you kind Ladies and gentlemen.

To Croatia, welcome aboard! To the rest of the hold outs, come on, what are you waiting for? A new country is being born, get on board already!

All of you have made me so proud by joining together in economic harmony to create a new country. It brings tears to my eyes when I think about the impact that helping all of you has had on my life, and that my advice has had on yours. I have always helped others, but never so many at once. I take every word that I write seriously and test each word in my heart.
I am honored to my marrow.
May all of you be blessed as I am right now.
To Mr. Warren Coats, using you as a sounding board has helped me greatly, even though you have never written me back. To the IMF, thank you for backing my strategies, but keep your new currency for the time being.The world is just fine without it.
To the EU Comm Reps, it has been an honor speaking to all of you. You have earned your place in history. To the Kings, Queens, Ministers, and Representatives of the European Union Member States, thank you for accepting my council and helping me create the United European States (or Union).
And please, smile, :) it's not the end of the world by a long shot. A little cooperation among yourselves will go a long way.

I'm still missing the email addresses for Italy, The Swiss Ministers, The Isle of Malta, Cyprus, The Prime Minister of England, Mr. Sarkozy, The Netherlands, and a few others. I'm doing my best to keep all of you informed, so please email my new posts to each other. EU Comm Reps, please forward all emails and posts to your Heads of States. If you are not receiving my emails and posts, send me your email address. I release a new post every two to three weeks which gives you time to create a new crisis for me to think up solutions for.
I will let all of you know when the non-profit organization is operational (hopefully sometime in January 2012).

A Christmas card (personally signed) expressing your thanks  by mail would be greatly appreciated.
